Q:

Talon SS Saftey (different problem I think)

The problem I am having with the safety is it seems to be getting harder and harder to press in after loading.

Is this eventually going to lead to an accidental discharge of the gun when the safety is pushed in? 😕

Anything I can do to lighten this up, short of removing it?

Roger

P.S. I have not seen the accidental discharge when the safety is pressed in, that’s why I placed this into a different post.

Thanks, I still haven’t found the courage to take my talon apart that far. If it gets much worse I will have to do that.

How did you mount the knob, did you just drill it out and glue it, or something else?

Roger

The Airforce Trigger guard sucks! So putting a knob on it is a little hard due to the guard getting in the way. But what I did was take a piece of aluminum rod and drill it then epoxy it on the safety. It is much easier to use….big time

Hey Sac,
You would have to get into the trigger group and clean and polish where the safety bar comes in contact with the hammer release.

My solution for making the safety easier to push
I put a knob on it
