Talon SS Top Hat leaking air
My Talon SS has started to develop a problem. The tank holds air under pressure just fine. However when I close the bolt on the gun it starts to leak very slowly from the top hat area.
What is the source of the problem and does anyone have a fix?

Is the top hat loose? does it rotate freely?
One thing you can take a look at is to make sure your tank is in alignment with the barrel.
Look at the top hat, it should be perfectly parallel to the barrel in all directions.
If it is not you need to determine where the misalignment is.
If it is the valve then you might need to adjust the collar to get the valve adjusted to the barrel.
If the valve is out of alignment with the barrel when you close the bolt it will push the valve to one side.

your tophat is out too far and closing the breech forces the tophat back cracking the valve off its seat.
Readjust and lock the tophat closer to the tank.
