Q:

Talon Trigger Tuning

I have a new .22 cal. Talon SS and love everything about the gun, except the trigger and the safety. The trigger is a bit heavier than I like, but my real bitch is the safety. It is extremely stiff. I use the tip of my trigger finger to release the safety and after 50 or so shots the finger tip almost feels like it is bruised. Any tips on how to either lube or smooth out the safety’s release.

Has anyone had Talon Tunes tune their guns? How did the tune improve the trigger and safety?

quote DaveT:

That’s a great idea. Did you do anything to lube the safety?

Yes I did ‘lube it’ didn’t do much if any good.

That was well worth doing, took 2 minutes.
