Q:

Talon Tunes 6" Shroud

I’m thinking about getting a Talon Tunes 6″ Shroud for my Condor SS rifle. Anyone have any experience, good or bad with this. Tony’s stuff is the best so I’m all but sold on it already. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Sorry Tony they are Airforce shrouds. I should have been clearer and posted in the for sale section as someone suggested. Looking forward to receiving your hammer and drilled barrel bushing. Regards

Hey Chris,
FYI…I do not make a 3″ shroud and there is no way to ” bolt my shrouds together”.
You might want to research where these shrouds were made my friend.
Thanks, Tony

LOL maybe he’s not happy with them 🙄

Chrisyboy , a little advice . If you have something to sell then you should post it in the FOR SELL section and not the Condor Section . You will get better
results , and you should explain why you are selling your TT Moderators . It would give a buyer a better reason to purchase from you . As is , it gives the
impression you are not happy with them .

I have two Talon shrouds absolutely brand new for sale. One six inch, one three inch, and for extra silencing you can bolt them together. If you are interested in a good price on these PM me.

I have Tony’s 9″ LDC on my Talon SS which was a .22 cal. with a 12″ barrel at the time but have since up-graded to a .25 cal. with a 12″ barrel . Did not need to
drill a ding hole for alignment , however , I did need to drill and tap a new set screw hole on the bottom of the barrel to correct LDC alignment . With that done
still using the same 9″ LDC everything was in perfect shooting order and super backyard friendly .

anyone mod the shroud by drilling a dimple in the shroud for the set screw?

Mine came with a mark for orientation purposes…I went ahead and used a punch to mark the line, and partially drilled it to make a dimple for the set screw to screw into.

That’s a great idea. I was thinking the same thing. I’m going to do mine tomorrow.

I got one, 1st class workmanship

Okay, I’ve got mine in and I love it. Of course, it makes the gun a little longer, but the sound difference is really amazing. Well done Talon Tunes. Tony is not cheap, but neither are his products. Everything I’ve ever bought from him is extremely well made! I wish I had the money to send him my gun! 🙂

Thanks for your opinions. I’m saving up for one now. 😆

I have 1 for my Talon SS it works good. If I had to do over I would have ordered a 9″ for that little bit more.

Steve

I got it….great piece of hardware.

Definitely decreased the sound signature quite a bit….to just the hammer and tophat noises.

Had to wait a week or so for shipping though.
