Q:

talon tunes rocks !

i just managed to get my hands on a tt shroud today. the 10 inch version with the side grooves and ….. the ping with the shroud on (dry fired it with a .177 ) barrel in is too sweet after the thump i used to get with my stubby shroud.
the construction is good and the weight non existent. the length is up by a few inches but the sound suppression was needed.
shall post pics as soon as i get the .22 Mac 1 HW barrel back in the action. i feel that with the .22 barrel and a kodiak up the spout the sound should be even lower.
update – some pics

How long is the one for the SS?

Tony, these really look very professional and cool looking with the groves it really adds something.

Very nice. To get the same volume out of a Frame Extender Shroud it would have be about 15 5/8″ inches from frame to tip.

Tony’s design is the best.

The TalonTune’s Condor shrouds now come with a much thicker connector…

And weigh in at 7.2 ounces

Thanks, Tony

expensive only wrt such stuff. the rest is ok though. here a shot shell is appx 1.2 usd , .22 lr .5 usd with the match stuff at lean times going at appx 1 usd.
30.06 springfield is 10 usd per cart.

You bet tony is very good he built my first talon ss then i ended up with two more now i have a talon .177, talon ss .22 and the condor .25 and they all rock he is the man in my book 😆 :18: 😆 :18:

20,000 / 50, carry the one…drop the last three zero’s, multiply 20 by the factor of 50 + 20, carry the one again….that would be $400 USD.

How do you guys manage to live in Europia? That’s very expensive!

nope 20,000 in my currency conversion rate 50 = 1usd . well i wanted it so i paid up to another forum member from my side of the pond. suffice to say getting anything which resembles a weapon here is a pain. u guys have it good. fight the antis every inch of the way or wind up like us.

well ,it set me back 20 k landed here. so not really affordable but i needed to gag my gal up ! after years of center fire and big ordnance i have SNHL in my lt ear. i hoped that after a couple of years of airgunning and rimfires it would be regressing ! no luck. so now i have only .22 lr and airguns available if i want to hear my kids yell without a hearing aid. so i keep everything as silent as i can and only use .22 subs in my .22 lr.
that did not stop me from firing quite a few 9mm and .223 round the day before (with ear protection ) this was after a gap of 3 years.

Is this affordable for us working guys?

sorry joey, some how i missed ur post ! the extra length is a bit annoying but if silence matters then there is no way out of this .

Is the 10″ shroud for the 24″ barrel? I think thats what I need
Did the extra overall length seem annoying?

Thanks …Big Time!
Glad you are happy. We are always evolving our shrouds to be the lighest and quietest available.
Thanks, Tony
