Talon up grade
now i know this has probably been asked many times b4, but…
i’m thinking of an up grade from Talon to condor. (possibly to the .25, too. i have the .22 right now.)
is the Condor tank and valve all i need?
i wanna use the 24″, .25 barrel of the Condor if’n i decide to go .25 cal.

My Talon now wears a 21″ .25 cal barrel, and recently a condor valve. I am using the stock Talon hammer with a heavier spring, seems to be working good so far. It is a very worthwhile upgrade, but the .25 barrel will require a bigger valve than the Talon valve, i was only getting mid to high 700’s for FPS with one when i first added the .25 barrel. Do it, you won’t be disappointed. 😀 The condor weight would probably be a better solution than a heavier spring, or get fancy and order a custom heavy hammer. 😀
You’ll also need a condor hammer plus hammer weight. for average performance. The talon hammer is too light for a hi flo valve.
You’ll need a hiflo valve tune or an aftermarket valve and hammer an a complete tune to get the Ultimate performance.

When Tony does a tune on a standard Condor he uses the factory hammer and weight correct? No changes there right? So what happens when you use a Talon valve on a Condor? Does it just smack the valve alot harder than it needs to?
