Q:

TalonP frame with standard tank valve performance

Hello all,

I have eventually managed to get a TalonP frame only (thanks R&L).
It is setup with the additional hammer weight (I believe condor and TalonP come with it).
I will use a standard flow valve tank on it and a 12″ .22 barrel (these are spares I have)

Should I remove the extra weight or should I keep it on?
Do I need I different breach for the .22?

Sorry, the frame is in the mail and I am trying to get info to know if I need to order parts before it gets here.

I appreciate any input and hints.

Cheers
Chris

It will work. Same breech for .22 & .25

Thank you for the response.

I never had a .25 barrel. I assume the talonP frame will arrive with the original breech for the .25.
Since I am installing a .22, do I need to change/replace anything on the breech?
I am just not sure if the barrel OD at the breech is the same for .22 and .25 for the 12″ barrel.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers
Chris

The newer frames have à different trigger group and
require the newer breech to reset the safety.

The extra wt is à must to open à hiflo or direct flo talonp valve. With the 12″ barrel you may still want try it with the standard talon valve.

Nobody,really?
No help, no love…..
