Q:

TalonP valve switch??

Parts of this belong in 3 different sub-forums so I’m posting it here…

First, will the valves interchange between the TalonP tank and the standard tanks?

Assuming the TalonP valve will screw into a standard AF bottle I have a proposal that goes something like this…

I want the small bottle with a standard or micrometer valve… If you want a short .25 cal with a full size bottle WITH a transplanted TalonP valve then we can can make this work. If you have the means to do the valve swap, I’ll send you my tank/valve, you switch the valves and send me the small tank back. I’ll throw in an appropriate mount of cash depending on how the comes together.

If the interest is there, I’d be willing to do this with several tanks/valves currently on my shelf.

Baz – I’m trying to locate those bottles in the USA, but curious:
What is the max pressure rating ?
Will a standard AIrForce valve screw into them ?

I spoke to AP valves they told me they will ship these bottles World Wide. In the UK they cost £51.35p. They are made by Luxfer and have a working pressure of 232 bar, and test pressure of 348 bar. The thread size is M14 x 1.5 iso so thats a metric 14mm x 1.5mm thread. Thanks.

Nice baz!!!!!!!!

Very nice Baz.

That is very cool – eliminated the powerwheel.

GunPower (European) versions don’t have the powerwheel.

baz…

NOW THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!!

Holy shit!!! That’s more like a pistol…

AF sit up, pay attention and take notes guys, ya friking idiots… 🙄

The 100cc bottle is what they use on these surface marker bouys [SMB] I only bought the bottle not the complete bouy from a company called AP Valves

That picture is what the TalonP should have looked like. It is pretty cool

Try geting a valve with a 14mm thread then you can use bottles like these. The first one is from a surfice marker bouy that scuba divers use and its 100cc. The second one is from a Theoben MFR and thats a 280cc bottle, if you use a red dot sight with either of these bottles you can shoot one handed quite easily. The valve i’m using is a Blodnob valve.

More info on the bottle on this one please ?

interesting proposal… however, if you have the talon frame with a 12 inch .25 barrel, a tuned hi flo with vented delrin would be an easier retrofit. tagdagger may have a piece of vented delrin he can sell ya, hes pretty good with them…

I’m interested in some f the answers. I’d like a small tank for my TSS.
