Q:

TalonP with condor tank conversion to .177

Like the title says… i want to convert my talonP to .177 with a condor tank for just shooting in the yard/pesting rats and such. I already have a spin loc talon P with tank and i recently was given an older condor tank without quick fill adaptor and a 12” barrel in .177. I was thinking of putting quick fill and manometer on tank and making it a spin loc. Should i? Or should i sell it and get a micrometer tank, or should i just call tony for a special top hat insert that will get the .177 shooting good.

My concerns are;

1). Tank dump
2) taming the condor valve to shoot such light pellets crossman/jsb 10’s and sometimes the 8.5’s
3) keeping another tank that “could” shoot with my .25 barrel that is larger and increases my shot count in .25 cal

Money is currently tight and i want my conversion to be as efficient ad possible as medical bills are loomong.

Thanks

Cally

Ohh i misunderstood, what speeds were you getting with the 24”?

thanks guys!

Rrdstarr out of curiosity what speeds are you getting out of your 12″ .177? I was hoping to get into the 900’s with 10.5g, I like the micro better for shot count but just not sure if it can get me to my desired speed.

I don’t have a 12″ .177. I had a 24″ .177 but traded it for a .357 TJ barrel liner.

thanks guys!

Think you will want a micrometer tank for backyard shooting.

In .177 the condor or talon p tank will be way to powerful and waste a lot of air. Get a standard tank at the most. :2cents:
