Awesome skill, very beautiful. Just doesn’t look right on the AF though IMHO.

Man that’s nice! You must have a lot of patience!

I have been carving walking sticks for about 8 years ,but it very seasonal for me with work and everything,i like to look for sticks when hunting deer and squirrels. But only did a few stocks for myself, and you talk about nerves’they say the stock is hardwood, and it is beech wood ,so it is hard but not like oak or walnut,so as i carved it wants to fuzz up,not good for detail. But it worked out just fine .I plan on more carving on the m-rod stock this year,, like, every in. of the stock will have something on it.

paul, how long have you been doing wood carving. i just cant imagine my self diving into a new stock like that. i would be scared, very scared.

Thanks for the nice words.,yes it did take from FRi.,pattern work to Sun. night,it sure catches the eye of other hunters who i meet up with while hunting .

Wow! Very, very nice. I can just bet that took lots and lots of time. But the results are worth it.

Nothing like something hand made.

Carl
