Talontunes 6" Shroud
Just put a 6″ Talontunes shroud on my Talon SS.
My Talon SS is the version with an Allen screw through the barrel shroud that holds the Sound Lock inserts away from the muzzle. To make the shroud fit, I removed one Sound Lock, inserted a washer that fit perfectly and adds an additional baffle plate against the end of the second Sound Lock. I then cut a piece of black plastic sprinkler pipe (which inserts into the barrel with a nice light friction fit) to fill the void created after removing the 3rd Sound Lock, inserted the original pressure washer, inserted the 6″ TTunes shroud and tightened up the end cap Allen screw fixed with a dab of blue locktite. The next day I double checked that everything was lined up straight and took the rifle out to test fire.
Amazing!
You now only hear the hammer slap on the tank valve. No more muzzle blast, just a very light “puff” of air.
