Q:

Taming The Elusive Condor .177…

I kind of cringe when I have to work on a Condor .177.
To me, that massive power plant and that tiny pellet just doesnt go together well.
But I gotta do what I gotta do.
This one came to me because the owner said it would no longer shoot consistently.

He wanted it to shoot as fast as it could and still remain quiet, which meant keeping sub sonic…

Here is the finished product…

After many attempts to balance out hammer, power wheel and valving this is the final result
JSB Exact 8.4 grn.

After constantly playing with .25, .30, and .357 these pellets seem microscopic.

I would say he should be happy with the results…

Thanks for looking.

Thats a good number n grouping. Just wondering did he ask for jsb 8.4gr? I did one before in .177, 92gram hammer with standard spring, and 1 piece tophat that i made, getting a good group with jsb beast running at ard 980. Then with additional washer between th n oring, i can run crossman premier at ard same number with similar accuracy too. Any reason why running it at low fpe?

…..really very good!

That autonomy have?

awesome numbers and groupings!
