Tank covering?
I’ve added a 9-ounce CO2 tank to the Talon and am looking for a covering. Has anyone tried wrapping the tank with Camo vinyl? I am also thinking about making a leather cover as I can’t find any foam sleeves.
Any other ideas?

better yet, get a 12 oz tank and get 2 foam soda can sleeves, cut bottom off one, and slide them over the tank. insulated and everything! i put 2 hot hands hand warmers under the rear sleeve and co2 suddenly became a viable winter shooting option… 😎
I did this on a Talon Tank… Bottom gun.

I decided to make my own, used an old piece of Naugahide and a shoe lace.
I am getting one for my 2250 carbine as I already have a piece of round foam around the stock and this will go over it perfectly and I can use the shotgun shell holder (velcro) to hold my co2 carts. It has a nice sized zipper pouch to carry whatever you like.
If you buy them from ebay try to get from a USA dealer as China shipping takes some time. I think mine was around 3 weeks from China.

Why not? Are you talking about it turning and not staying put?

Just bought two of these for my two birds and I have to say it is the best 24.00 I ever spent. I think they were around 12.00 each. They come in OD, Black, digital, and maybe even some other patterns. What is great about them is you can pack foam (thickness of your choice) underneath for proper cheek weld.

Now you all come up with other alternatives. I originally posted this back in August and only got a few suggestions so I tried something different (glad I did). Anyway, I’m satisified with my cover for now but will try a foam cover on the second tank, might even try the handwarmer idea.
Any more ideas?
