tank dump
Was firing old (with a surface layer of corrosion which could also qualify as patina) Kodiak extra heavies. read 1035 fps and was stoked. the next shot was a virtual total tank dump. ending pressure was around 400 or so PSI. started at 28 or 2900. Is this a harbinger of things to come, or was it because of my not pristine shiny kodiaks and using the new shiny ones will alleviate the problem, or is it sooper sekrit option #3 which is “It happens every once in a while?”
Looking at all the old posts about tank dumps would lead me to believe it might be a harbinger.

I’ve fired another 200 rounds or so through that condor and it hasn’t tank dumped on me again. It was probably operator error.
BTW stay away from ZOS scopes. their mil markings aren’t 1mil. Just sayin.
