Thanks. It is the valve I made for the .308. I even put a condor spring over my spring and it still did it. So I don’t think it’s the return spring. I don’t have a o ring to seal the stem yet. Not sure if that matters.

putting a .177 barrel on a condor valve without changing out the valve spring will do it every time… but that fits right in with tags explanation 😉

are you getting dump with your new valve?

The #1 reason is blow back. More air down the barrel than the barrel can accept so it blows back and holds the valve open and dumps the tank. An over sized pellet or slug can have the same affect, and also some shrouds will put air back up the barrel.

Shooting low pressure with an overly ported valve or very light valve spring will also dump air.
