get a pump and a carbon fiber tank
I heard the same thing years ago so didnt give them a second thought. That was from the dealer ).
I had seen that they had lots of problems and peeps had a hard time getting parts.

I got mine from him. He is knowledgable and easy to deal with. His stock varies quite a bit. Tell him it is for paintball/airgunning. Comparable price to the “club size” dedicated airgun compressors but rated to fill bulk tanks like scuba or scba.
Mine fills to 3500psi and got it for 1200.00 (I got fill whips for both SCUBA and SCBA with mine). Takes only 8 minutes to fill an 88cf tank from 2200-3500.
