Q:

Tank Gauge

Is it possible to add a gauge ,to see how much tank pressure is left in tank, instead of counting shots to judge when to refill. And where would you drill and tap. Thanks

Baz,

You are so tricky!….I like it 😀

I did see the two lines on the part, but assumed they were machining marks. Now I know, thanks.

Nice pics. baz.

My question is, on the middle photo how does the air get to the gauge, without opening the valve?

Thank

I also did these just to show a couple of ways to fit a gauge to the bottle, and still be ble to unscrew the bottle for filling without having to cut any of the frame out. The easiest way to fit a gauge is to get an adaptor made that has 18×1.5mm male to female, and fit the gauge in the side of the adaptor. So just scout around for a local machine shop, it shouldn’t cost you too much to get one made.

Good info. thanks.

Just to add another possible source for gauges and other interesting things.

Try Mcmaster Carr, http://www.mcmaster.com/

They always have some hard to find stuff.

Hope this helps.

Ok,Just thought i would ask,Thank you

Nope. Not in its stock form. If you put one on you can not unscrew the tank.
