as promised wall thickness measurement, 5.70mm or 0.2240 imp, pretty dang thick!! also forgot to mention inside of buddy bottles must be treated with an anti corrosive treatment as it feels highly polished and glazed, gunna leave it outdoors for a year and see how it degrades over time exposed to the elements,, 😆
diving bottles have to be tested but anything 500cc or smaller needs no test,, as
the bottle is so small and wall thickness so thick that it would be like saying you need to get your rapid 7 block pressure tested, same t6 alloy same thickness,
thats why nobodys buddy bottle has gone bang,, and here in uk i know people with buddy bottle guns over 20 years old still good condition, i would trust a buddy bottle fed rifle more than a resevoir rifle any day,, have seen a few air arms s410 rifles destroyed there tubes through over filling, ends are designed to trumpet out at threads for safety, yet to see a buddy bottle fail,, 🙂

Anyone wonder why a PCP gun has not blown up? We have to have our tanks checked every 3 to 5 years what about the guns are they exempt,
I talked to a tank builder in my home town he looked at my great white and said yes he will test it every 5 years and the 15 year life span is a joke. He also said something about the carbon fiber tank having baffles in it , it would pop and not explode even with 8000 psi in the tank ?????
This guy has NO 4500 psi tanks and just takes care of welders 3000 psi tanks, He talked like he new what he was talking about,
He also flipped out on the cricket 22 and could not believe the craftsman ship of the gun, Very impressed,
It was the first PCP gun he has seen,
Mike
haha, sorry been bizzy and vernier not here, will go to workshop tomorow and measure thickness, will give it in metric and imperial to keep everyone happy,, 😛

So get your calipers and measure the wall and give up some numbers. I sent my laser calculating eyes in for recalculation.
Thanks for the numbers, nice to know since I shoot 6 bottle guns.
