Q:

Targets

What other targets then Cans and bottles have you guys shot at that I might find interesting. Shooting cans gets old after awhile. Just wondering if you guys had any ideas for me. I figure the dog wasn’t a good target 😳 so I figure I would ask you guys. Thanks!!

i hear butane lighter fluid cans work well and well as the bulk econo pack of lighters
just dip in rubber cement and light it 😆
then shoot nice lil fireball
😯
or do the same to starting fluid, spraypaint, hairspray
i like taking pingpong balls fill with gasoline using syringe (i use one from my cajun injector) set balls on golf tees stuck into a board and have a few candle burning right behind each one 😈

hair mouse can are fun. give them a shake and hit them with a hollow point for maximum expansion and it makes a right mess.

You can print off airgun targets at airgunsmith.com

well since u live in ohio it is almost fall and the weather is getting cooler
take golf tees and put ice cubes on em
u can buy a bag of cubes for 2 bucks and u have a lot of shooting fun there
also i take the dollar store poker chips and glue em to popsicle sticks and stick em in the ground at diff ranges
also there are pigs in ohio 😈 and coyotes 😈
ill be down there in a month or 2 for some yote hunting
have family in youngstown
and again at thanksgiving for some bowhunting deer

I like to take shotgun shells and cut the shot out..then lay the shell on something with the primer facing you..when you hit the primer..pow…she goes.. 😆
next is sitting a 16 oz coke bottle full of gas directly in front of a lit candle..shoot the bottle and the whole thing goes ka-boom 😆
the last fun thing to shoot..pigeons.pigeons.and then a few more pigeons 😉

Eggs make a fun target if you have enough room to not worry about the mess. They blow up, fly everywhere, and make a cool sound when hit.

Thanks guys those sound interesting!! We shot a boob tube up and we had to turn the condor up to 950 fps with 28 grain ej’s ..It was fun as hell!! Ed let me shoot most of it, When I first shot it and made the first hole it made a funny noise..The glass in it was about three quarters inches thick..Fun stuff, except the mess! I shot a piece of oak one time with a big knot in it . I was shooting 28 ej’s with the gun turned on low power and the damn thing came back and hit me in the neck. Looked like I had a hicky..Ed just laughed at me, it hurt but I guess looking back on it now it was funny. We all gotta have our stories. Too bad I have more then some. But I’m getting better ..FYI I haven’t shot the dog again..She’s been home we haven’t taken her with us. I’ve learned my lesson. And her leg is healing GREAT and it’s like it never even happen. I’ll never forget it though..Yall have a good one!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Crows heads make excellent targets. 😀 A piece of lunch meat or other attractant on a tree or fence post attracts yellow jackets, my kids favorite game when we go camping.

We used to put dimes or pennies in the tree bark.

Bent allot of coins. Until I hit a dime dead center and a moment later
the pellet hit me right in the middle of my forehead 😯

get a bag of plastic soldiers (dollar store) you can paint them and place them on the dirt, you can also hide some and only have their head out of dirt mound, and then start shooting away, small cars and truck are also fun to see the damage.

i set up a bunch then pick them off. my nephews bring then and love seeing waht a kodiac does to them

Last time I was shooting with my Father in law he busted out the bamboo skewers (Kabob sticks) and we were shooting those at 30 yards. We were marking them off in inches and shoving them in the ground and seeing who could cut theirs down from the top first. It’s fun competition and challenging as it’s not something you can hit every shot.

I know it sounds weird, but potatoes are awesome to shoot at. I cut them into little cubes and when hit with a hollowpoint or wadcutter they explode into a starchy mist.

test

A washer at the bottom of a straight coathanger

That is my latest favorite. It really flies when you hit it and then comes right back.
