Q:

Tasco 2-6X20

Does anyone have any information on this Tasco rifle scope? Maybe 25 or more years old? What it may be worth in excellant condition? 😀

This scope has a 1″ tube and appears to be High Quality. I looked through it and has Super glass. Very bright?

Found a Vintage Tasco Advertisement that dated 1979, so they were being manufactured during 1979.

The one I have is the first on left. It has the wide view/oval lower reticle on the page.

Zilog you are right, 6X is not sharp close in 30yds or less, but seems to be sharp at 50 yds or more.

I think it has to do with parallex. I think this scope is parallex at 100 yds. Won’t be doing any 100 yd shooting with this rig.

Seen a forSale post with one of these on a 30-06 Rifle. Don’t think would use that less than 50 yds 😕

Sounds like a good little scope. I have always wanted a compact scope like that for the gun I use in the garden but most have a poor max zoom of 4 or 5 if your lucky that make them limited for any other application. I think 2x to 6x is a great setup.

Finally bought this scope. Put it on my ceska 452. Zeroed in at 35 yds about 10 shots. Mounted with Millet high windage adj mount.

Shoot s very good. Windage and elevation clicks are quite mushy.

Put about 200 rounds of Blazer blamo through it. Holding POI

First low power scope ever. Enjoying plinking on 2X 😯
