Well there was this stock maker that hinted when the second version of “The Cat” came out that he might embark on a walnut replacement but as far as I know it never came to be. That may have been enough to get me over the edge on one. Right now I am hoping for a small light semi-auto like the H-Bird was going to be. I just don’t need any more backyard power than my Standard .30 Edgun. I like it because even it is small and relatively light not to mention very quiet. So far approaching 1800 shots on the same valve stem.
With oil prices and the economy in Russia I am not sure how much R&D is still going on over there. It would be cool if they eventually fixed the Bird. :8:
Coda it did sort of look like that when I got it. All slimy and gooey but now it’s healed it self.
Zonk, which way do you fold the legs on your bipod? Just wondering if you let them stick out past the barrel or can you fold them towards the trigger?

Out past the barrel. For me it’s faster to set them down.

Here it is with the bipod folded forward and another pic of it folded in the rearward position.. Why do people keep saying the cat is ugly?
If i know him as well as i think i do he folds one of the legs out past the barrel and the other towards the trigger. It’s typical Zonkie : Always unable to decide.

I was aware of the fugliness of the bobcat. I just haven’t seen one in sometime. I was startled and made a quick vulgar comment! My apologies 🙂 The gun appears to be as large as a beltfed FN minime . I like Ted and enjoy his videos when I find time to watch them. But recent videos of the bobcat have caused me to question his opinion of bullpups. Maybe he prefers the bobcat due to the fact he has more space to mount cameras and beer coozies etc…. Idk. I do know that FX as a brand in the US of merica has began to degrade due to not building what is being desired by the consumers and for allowing only one dealer in the country, that then marks up the price. They have even fallen out of favor on the other forum. Ted catches flak for association with them from most, but from me it’s more about being seen out in public with a fat chick :whistle:
