No……. It actually scares newbs away too and that affects the vendors that are funding the war behind the scenes.

It did look like a rookie move. He must be reading every post and response. Can’t beat fun like that. šŸ™„ Are there any winners in a forum war? šŸ˜›

i don’t know maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me but the TAG seems to have some pretty green grass.

Grass? We don’t need no fucking grass

If they are going to scour the YF finding posts that show disapproval of AOA and then delete and ban people because they make an informative post on a certain gun, then they are going to be very busy boys deleting and banning folk.

I saw that guys write up on THOF and it was fine and only informative, to delete it because they do not like him and his opinion on a vendor just makes for good drama.

But they are rookies at forum management and will figure it out.

Let’s see what happens when people start asking about Joe Brancato and his stuff on their forum :darth-vader:

What the Fuck!?

We can get paid?

This is where you are going to see people who bitch and moan about the YF go over to Teds forum and think it is any different….lol

This shit is just hysterical

It will take a while to build up a clientele but it seems like many Yellow members are starting to flock over there now. Ted doesn’t have quite as many vendor sponsors but he does have the big ones. It is an interesting competition. I bet other vendors bolt if the volume picks way up. I know one who said he felt like he was forced to be on YF to survive.

Secoda ever try to sell outside of yellow? There is a classified here too still no match for yellow. That is the place to buy and sell.

Hello all, This forum was created to give you, the end-users, the opportunity to openly discuss everything about the sport of airgunning. However, the creation of any communication medium almost guarantees that unscrupulous parties will attempt to undermine that mission.

So, we have several powerful tools at our disposal to ensure that we can identify and eliminate clandestine advertising efforts. When we identify these ā€œaliasā€ members, we take swift action to protect the integrity of our forum.

The costs of running this place are significant. Development, hosting, and bandwidth are expensive. We accept sponsorship from credible manufacturers and vendors to pay for these costs and compensate our staff for their time and work. In return, the sponsors expect only one thing from us: that we maintain a platform that allows an honest exchange of information between end-users. They support the forum because they believe we have created a level playing field, and in that environment their businesses and products can speak for themselves.

So, it is in every member’s best interest to keep the charlatans in check. And, this is why we gave you the tools to help us defend the forum. When you employ the accuracy (+ / -) and flagging tools, it helps us quickly identify and eliminate disingenuous and hostile elements. Many of you have already helped us. Thank you.

Furthermore, the new (2.0) version of this forum will be light-years more intuitive than the current format, and will offer you, the end-users, even more powerful tools to help us moderate. The new version is expected April 1. And, that is NO joke. šŸ™‚

Regards,
Michael and Ted

Ok, help me understand here, since I’m completely tech/computer stupid :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

So they have a technological advanced site that can figure out what computer where a poster is from and if he’s legit ? ….or something along those lines ? 😯 😯

I figured that was the next add-on. I see Ted defended the post deletion.

“The Classified’s section will go live with the MK2 version of this forum very soon.”

Those two (Ted and Mike) will never compete with Yellow, ever. Why?.. one word classifieds

Good luck keeping the exchange honest all of the time. :confusedn:
