great product, Tom. well worth the wait. noodles, you will need a fill line with gauge with a FEMALE foster quick connect at the compressor end and a scuba clamp connector at the other. i suggest Joe Brancato for what you need. as an aside, i would also get a bleed valve in the line at the gauge. the compressor bleed valve has been a source of some early problems, although not with mine. it will probably cost about $150-175 for everything. if you are going to fill your gun tanks directly from the compressor, you will need the proper AF adapter at the end of the fill line-NOT THE FOSTER CONNECTION!
Hold your horses everyone! We ARE having delays. We held back 12 units from the first run in case there were disasters and we had to replace entire units. I am happy to say that didn’t happen, so we are releasing some of the original inventory.
If your scuba tank has a quick connect/disconnect, you can just use that instead. Otherwise you will need a short fitting with a gauge between your compressor and your tank.
For quicker fill, you will need another 85 psi compressor with filter attach to the Shoe Box Compressor input line. that’s all you needed.
Noodles, How in the hell did you get a Shoebox? I just checked the Shoebox forum and Tom said that he had production delays and hoped to start shipping them by the end of the month. That post was on Sept. 30th. and I assumed that he meant that they wouldn’t be ready till the end of October.
When did you order yours? I ordered mine 8-18-2010.
Never mind, I found you 8-2-2010. There are 13 orders between yours and mine.
I hope that Tom isn’t going to do a Greg Davis on me and not get around to making mine for 9 months! 😆
You’er 1 of the 13 lucky peoples on the second run 😆
