What’s with everyone getting new fancy guns here lately? Did half of you hit your midlife crisis at the same time? 😆
I think it should be the law that in the back of every picture posted here, if it has a computer screen on it, that computer screen should be set to TAG. 😀 Notice in the first picture NJ followed the rule. 😀
NJ that is fantastic. What a terrific shot string and the consistancy… I don’t know much about the FX guns. Is that a bottle type air tank and another air tube under the barrel? How much does it weigh? I just got into airguns about a year ago when I got my Talon. If I had done more homework at the time I might have made different chooices. Congrats on the great gun. The wait on the Edgun is tough isn’t it???
KG
An ES of 8 on high and 9 on medium? That is the best string I have ever
seen….Do you
remember what the SD was? I am sure it was impressive also…Makes
you just want to forget about our other regulator projects….Congrats
that is a great shooter…Post some targets…I know my FX Cyclone is a
tack driver at 65yds I would bet the Gladiator will be too…IIRC it has a
Lothar Walther barrel so it should be a laser….
NJ, That’s an outstanding, impressive use of air! 😀 100 shots with such consistant velocity? That gun is a winner! Don’t sell it, or trade it and I really don’t want to hear about it being boring to shoot 😀 Congratulations!!! It is so cool that FX includes four magazines with that rifle. Every manufacturer should include at least two magazines with their air rifles…it’s just the classy thing to do. (Although, as with firearms, people at the various points along the point of sale chain might remove the magazines from the box and either keep them for themselves, or sell them individaully. Truly a low class, trahy habit of some wholesalers and retailers).
Please post back and let us know how your FX performs over time. What an awesome shot string!
(They used to say that “the Henry rifle could be loaded on Sunday and shot all week”. Your Gladi8or could be shot for months! 😉 )
What caliber?
What is the barrel length?
I have one and also a Verm.
The Glad barrel is too long, the Verm barrel too short, LOL!!
Actually, I like the length of the Verm better if I just had to choose, however, the Glad barrel adds a lot more velocity.
I am getting about 1050 with the Glad and 750 with the Verm, both 22cal, 14.3gr
