That wasn’t me I hope, I did do it once with a D/b reader just to get a baseline but I’m sure I never suggested it to anyone.
btw – that was the first and last time I ever did that…

Without the tank it could be bad… Why would you want to do it anyways.
To decock:
Push the breach forward and hold it, then with your other hand pull the trigger and ease the breach back… 😉
There’s no point in it, so don’t do it.
With the tank on, then go wild.
My GF at the time used to bitch at me because I was dry-firing at her plants….
I said, “Hey, It’s pure CO2, which plants crave, and it’s knocking the dust off the leaves to boot.”

Might bash the bottle collar outta line if the breech sitting against it…
