How do you guys use a boresighter on a Talon SS .22 when the barrel is about 4″ inside the frame then? I know you can use that on the 18″ and 24″ barrel, but I guess people with the stock 12″ barrel are out of luck when it comes to getting a quick setup when setting up a laser.

The only time I use the laser boresighter is when I first install a scope so I don’t waste much ammo with the price of it these days and it will get you close.
The green meenie has put a couple ARs within 3 or 4 clicks of center which isn’t bad at 100 yards.
There are a bunch of different ways to do this and we always fired a round at 100 yards then put the crosshairs on the center of the target and twisted her in to the hole then fire again and repeat it then reset the turrets for our zero at that range so we could just dope it.
Some people think it’s some magical thing that is done and want their rifle laser boresighted.

dont waist your money, set the gun on sand bags and look down the bore for a ruff sight in , you have to shoot the gun for exzact site in.
I have heard, Leupold Zero Point Boresighter is best outhere today. Check it out yourself.

I’m not a big fan of any of those laser sight in things. They are good to get you on paper, but you don’t want to just do that at home and go hunting with it. There is a good chance you won’t be dead on if you only use that.
Use it to get on paper, then acutally shoot and sight in the gun.
Those look nice, but they don’t seem to come in .177 caliber… 😕

I purchased the laserlyte and the arbors don’t fit very well it’s hard to see, I gave it to my ex-wifes husband I wish I still had it I would have sent it to you I owe you one.
