Testing regulator output pressure.
As title, Is there a way to test It. I’m getting under 650 PSI with a 1400 PSI reg which seems abit low to me. Only other thing I can think of Is It’s the small 12″ barrel afftecting the power but would It affect It that much?

Ta very much ZHH 😉 I’ll have to get one made up. Do all UFA’s have the side ready tapped to accept the gauge? Was looking at something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EMPIRE-UNIVERSAL-FILL-ADAPTER-ASA-IN-SILVER-NEW_W0QQitemZ110401358773QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Sporting_Goods_Paintballing?hash=item19b46f0bb5&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1688|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50
Cheers,
It’s tapped, that one will work for you. Remember to wrap teflon tape around the threads of the gauge when you screw it into the fill adapter.

I’m not In the US so can’t call Mac1 or rather It would be easyer to make one up / or buy ready made but doesn’t look like anyone does them.

Cheers,
My suggestion would be to call Tim at Mac1. That guy is the MACguyver of the airgun world and could probably fab up something for you really easy.
Get yourself a universal fill adapter and screw in a gauge where the coiled remote hose would usually go. You have to supply you’re own gauge
I notice that gauge only goes to 1200 PSI. I’ll be wanting something that goes higher really..
I don’t have a gauge nutshot so that ideas out. I’m sure the chrono would work mam but as you say not too accurate and takes too long for me 😆 That that you have there ZHH Is what I need 😉 Is there anywhere that makes them up ready to use??
Where to find one of these Jems?
Easy…
Get yourself a universal fill adapter and screw in a gauge where the coiled remote hose would usually go. Screw the assembly onto your reg., tighten it up, and twist the valve open. It should give you a fairly accurate reading, for a small investment.
I know this is a shade tree mechanic way of testing reg psi output
but, would it give me some indication +/- say 100psi? Fill to 2,500psi
then shoot across the chrony until I see a FPS drop and read the
ending pressure….Slap me if I am dreaming….
“I’m doing it ALSO” would be the proper to say it…LOL…I hate me for that…. 😆
Not sure if this is any help but this is how I test the reg pressure for my rapids .

pressure gauge screwed on to dive cylinder (not shown on pic) , adapter on guage , then reg then fully charged buddy bottle .
Keep the dive cyinder valve shut and use the blow off valve to let out a bit of pressure to see if reg resets to your chosen psi .

ZHH do you play G.O.W. online? My son LOVES that game! He’s RobZombie631 on XBOX live.
