TEXAN .45 Shooting 575 yds-VIDEO

First time shooting beyond 225 yds one time. Some modifications…….Horribly windy day……But no problem knocking over the 50 lb steel RAMS..

I enjoy long distance plinking with ammo i cast for the texan which can be used in my marlin 1895. I get shots down to 10 cents and shoot 1200-1400fps with 405 grain bullets using 16 grains of unique powder. I still love my texan but it shoots best 292 grain cast bullets sized to .457
