Q:

Texan carbine??

Tell me those that have seen or have this gun would it be possible to shorten the barrel just about a inch past the frame? I’m really thinking of one of these but the length is hard to get by. Wanting to use for deer this season for blind and tree hunting. That 48 inches is not inviting. Just wondered have any of the tuners and machinist thought of trying it. I may look into getting one and have someone take that on. I’d sacrifice a little energy to get sweet carbine.

Your only problem would be you will be losing Ftlbs. By cutting the barrel. The shorter you make it the less power you will have.

I’m willing to give up some power to get still a hard hitting carbine. I was told I would lose 10fps per inch give or take. She still should get close to 400fpe I’d think.
