Q:

TEXAN not holding air

The air tank is leaking… Twice I ave filled it to 300psi and shot down to 1800 psi…when I look at it later on it is down to 500 psi..This has happened twice so, as per the manufacturer’s instructions I dry fired it a few times to see if it would resolve the issue. I’ve refilled it and, am awaiting the results…I hope it stopped leaking…Last thing I wanna do is send it away for repairs….Oh, BTW…Is anyone adjusting the power on theirs? How do ya know which way to turn (up or down/left or right, depending on how you view it), and what are ya using to turn that adjuster wheel, an Allen wrench?

OK…will do

Mine leaked from the fill nipple also. Be sure to check your set screws occasionally. After 500-600 rounds, mine had worked loose.

Light slugs power wheel needs to be tightened towards the tank. Heavy slugs towards the end of the barrel.

Thanks for that common sense fix…it was coming from the fill nipple…I really appreciare the help

okay should I empty the tank first?

Take the tank off and find out where it’s coming from. Spray soapy water on it. Could be as simple coming from the gauge or fill nipple threads.

Filled it 2700 psi about a half hour ago and haven’t fired it. I’m looking at 2350psi rite now…Anyone got a quick fix before I contact AirForce?
