Q:

TGAG’s Cricket adjustable butt-pad

For the price this adj. butt-pad from TGAG is hard to beat and now i dont have to strain my neck or use super high scope mount to get my eye on the target. IMO the crickets should all come with this on them. :biggrinn:

I almost went and got one a while ago but I figures the bottom part will get hooked up on so may things it would be more of a pain than anything else. I does look like a nice unit

They show out of stock,
I have Email them and ask when they were getting any more in, No answer,
I have just tried to order one and just wait in till it comes in, Unable to order?
But the price is good,

Call both the numbers on the website till someone answers and ask about them. They don’t do this stuff full time so they can be slow. When I got the parts in my hands I realized I’d be better off having them do it so I sent my stock and everything to them and asked them to do it. A month later I had my stock back. But it’s was worth the wait and it was too cold to shoot anyways.

Couple questions-
Obviously you have to remove your butt pad to install the the new deal.. Does the butt pad peel off or is it screwed in some way, then does the kit only come with those two metal plates and you reuse your own buttpad? If you do, how do you attach it to the metal bracket? Screw/glue? That stuff included as well?
Also, how do you adjust that hammer spring? It doesn’t have a knob or holes to manipulate..?
Sorry for the million questions, I been wondering about these since they announced them months and months ago.

It is glued on. You would have to peel or knife it off. Then the white piece is screwed on. Take that off. You only get the aluminum parts and the screws you will need too. The pad is then glued back on the aluminum back plate. Glue not included. If I would have done it myself I would have called and asked what they used and exactly how I should do it.

The hammer spring adjusting is not hindered, since the new parts don’t obstruct the hammer spring tensioner. Check pic 3 again I think you can see.
