Tony I got a very large box yesterday, and inside I found the very small contents, my new 90gm brass hammer. If Pyramyd would follow this packing procedure all my pellets would be in great shape. Anyway…
For those of you that weren’t around this time last year, I won the “Predzilla” contest here on the forum.
Yellow Ninja melted down a boatload of pellets, and poured a huge Predator pellet.
All of us got one chance a day to guess the weight in grains. I was the lucky guesser, missed it by 33 grains. I think it was 19549 grains.
The prize was either $100 in product or services from Talontunes, or $50 from anywhere else. Of course I chose Talontunes.
I had just ordered a .25 barrel from Tony, so I PMed him with a request for a 70 gram hammer to use with the .22 barrel while I waited for the .25 to ship. (Made sense a the time LOL). Tony told me I didn’t have to spend the entire $100 all at once and I had already paid for the barrel, so I asked for just the single hammer.
A few weeks go by and I receive the hammer and barrel together. Everything was shiny and perfect, packed very well. What surprised me was the extra stuff in the box. A tin of 38gr Eunjins and a tin of 42gr Eunjins for the .25 barrel. Even better, he included 2 vented bushings installed on the barrel free of charge. Awesome!
A few months ago I decided I needed a heavier hammer for the .25 barrel so I asked him for the 90gm. I told him to take his time, hunting season was over till spring anyway and I was in no hurry. I knew with all he had already given me for free, I should pay for shipping at least.
Tony would have none of that. So yesterday I received my 2nd brass hammer and installed it.
I just got done shooting 42gr Eunjins at 990fps ave. in 15° F weather. I say average with a grin, only 1 shot in 5 dropped to 988fps, the other 4 were exactly 990. Stunning to say the least. I have Talon-tuned my own gun with perfectly made parts from Tony.

Well, at 2.8 pounds the energy would be 41,700 FPE but how many shots could you carry? Would you be in any condition to take a second shot? 😯

Now if someone would just build a gun that would shoot that 19549 grain Predator pellet… wonder what the FPE on that would be at say, 980fps.
