Thanx to DAQ and NOE. I 1st saw this mold on Randy’s
Big Bore Forum and followed the link. Since then, i have bought 1 mold in 257 from them and really LOVE IT. Their designs are a little different and they don’t seem to be copy cats of other proven designs. The have some ORIGINAL bullet designs. One of their 257 molds at 80 grs (FP) actually has micro lube grooves (micro driving bands) which aid in less frictions which will result in better accuracy and better speeds.
Roachcreek also owns 2 of their molds and is having EQUAL success in his haley 257.
I OWN A CONDOR 257 which was modified by Doug.

I went out shooting the Ranger and the Scandalous between 9 and 10 this morning.
Hotter than a popcorn fart, I was sweating, everything is out in the open and no shade.
But still had fun, I had just finished the Ranger 45 stock for the last time I think, it is looking pretty sweet now, with the traditional classic stock and satin finish, and lord how it rings that steel target, just sitting in the cool dark with momma and the air con now.

Yeah they say its going to be 108 today here. I work for a few hours until the sweat is to much and retreat inside the house.

Doug told me that my BBl. should be finished first of this week. I’m chomp’n at the bit to get it installed and putting stuff down range. If I can get get anything close to this kind of accuracy, I’ll be in Hog heaven. (Lots of wild hogs just west of here, Woo-Hoo!!!). And Lots’ of cyotes.
But I really enjoy shooting steel and paper at long range. Too Damed hot here to be chaseing pigs right now. 😆

RC, As Doug stated, those are some bullets from his LBT mold. They look similar to the Lymans but have a POINTIER head/nose profile. They are DAMNED ACCURATE and seem to slightly edge out the NOE’s. You can even see it in the video. The video is about the second time i’ve seen those bullets shoot super tight groups. Can’t remember how many Doug gave me but i still have some and i don’t wanna waste em downrange. OK OK OK, did i just say WASTE…………….uhhhhhhh, aren’t you supposed to shoot bullets? LOL!
when and IF i decide to get another 257 mold, it will be the LBT. or i’ll just take Dougs…..lol!

Those are the same bullets you shot of mine in your gun when I was at your house. One on the left. One on the right doesn’t do so good.
They even work sized down to .25070″ for .25.

I sure would like to try some of the noe’s out. When you cast some up, I’d trade you some others to try out in your barrel. I have a variety of different bullets. Maybe we can trade out 25. Hoping to discover which bullet my barrel shoots most accurately. Thanks.
