Q:

The 100 dollar PCP

Hey, does anybody know anything about the XS60C? I am assuming it is a Chinese Version of a Benjamin discovery, but I’m not sure. I have a friend looking to get into pcp guns for cheap, and I’m not sure if the disco is the route for him, or the XS0C. Any advice you guys have would be great! Thanks

The “cheapest” I would go on a pcp is the Discovery.
They have potential if your not satisfied with it out of box, to greatly improve it for relatively cheap.
As said before- there is a huge selection of after market goodies for it as well.

The XS60C started life as a CO2 rifle and has been converted to PCP. The max fill pressure is 1500 PSI. That is not necessarily a bad thing as that makes it easier to recharge than many PCPs.

Now as to quality, that may be a concern. This is a custom conversion. You start with the CO2 rifle and invest material and labor into it to convert it to HPA. That means the original CO2 rifle did not cost very much.

Personally, I would go with the Discovery over the XS60C. The Discovery started out as CO2 rifle also, but the build is probably better and there are tons of upgrades out there for it.
