They did in 2008 like those pellets are marked. It stopped with the new tin design.

Why they do not stick that label on back for jsb goes over see is mysterious 🙄

I have noticed different pellet skirts like Wingman posted but I’m with Zonk there is nothing listed on the tin. My Cricket does not like H&N

Nope nothing like that on any tins I have, even checked my buddy’s…nothing!

quote Wingman NZ:

Example:

Can you translate your picture please? [/quote]

5 – Nr. of machine which making pellets
00 – Nr. of worker
52 – Nr. of worker which selecting pellets
08 – Year of production
S3 – series
4.53 – caliber

That´s all.
For my barrel is better smaller pellets skirt – same like your…

Try H&N they are considered better than JSBs.

The best shooting JSB pellets in all my guns have been these two tins of 18.13gr.. the old silver tin is from 2000 and although are marked 5.52 actually truly measure 5.49mm and the new Edgun tin is 2013 which measure 5.50mm. both have the thick skirt (small rear punch) and out perform every other tin of 24 different batches tried.

I found couple of pellets in very good series 25000012 It is quite old series from year 2012 but very good to my barrel. Till now I have no so good pellets like were those from year 2012 🙁

Good question. It’s only marked with the grain.

The older tins we use to have before the new red & black tins had that sticker on the bottom. My Cricket likes 15.9gr 5.52

This is interesting 😯 Here and in Czech rep. is each tin equipped with label from under about series, year etc. So we know what kind of series is suitable for which gun/barrel. For my barrel is quite good series 20000013 and 15000013. How you recognize what kind of pellets do you have ?

It must be different over here in the states. I have 60 tins of JSB pellets and not one tin has a number on the bottom of it.
