Q:

The Greatest Feature of AirForce Guns, IMHO !!!

Is one thing I think overlooked.

All my PCP guns have “O” rings and sometimes many that need to be watched and are are a real pain to be installed (QB78/79 or My Career II 707’s as an example) ……. The AirForce has very, very few and they are easy to get to, I think there is a total of four and no major taking the gun apart is necessary,

To me, this is a very big deal, and a tribute to a very well thought out design ..everything is right in the tank or valve/top-hat next to it ! In a hunting situation when you are away from a serious work bench or ? I would think you can get your AirForce gun up and ruining pretty quick ! I know that none of my other PCP guns I could do that, I would have parts all over the place !

Just something I was thinking about !

One of the few American made items left. That was enough to make my mind up.

I’m getting my Foster fittings for my Career II 707 carbine …… I’m dreading if the “0” rings are bad … a big ordeal…. with a Air force gun … not problem at all !

Few orings is a big plus.

This is very true

Isn’t that because they are so simple? In Sweden people often mock AF for being so simple a Child could have made the gun, they don’t consider it Worth the Money etc.

But Before you hate on me this is not my own opinion, I quite literally know fuck all about AF so cannot say a thing

Yes, that is what makes it basic very good design. Yes it has its faults for sure and things that could have been added in the design, but when your out in the boonies and something goes wrong, or ? … simplicity is nice.

One less moving part is one less part to go wrong. !
