the new EDGE, and some idea’s ive had
Ive been looking at that new EDGE rifle, and airforce (or whatever company makes the condors and SS’s) did what ive been thinking about since Iraq… replacing the large tank w/a smaller tank/reservoir and making an adjustable stock. id like to take it a step further though, its still not what i want… any thoughts from the mod/machinist guru’s is what i need. how much air is used for shooting a .25 kodiak 900fps (about 55 fpe), per shot? also, anyone have thoughts on what type of tubing id need to use for the reservoir? thoughts on things i need to consider since im basically making a really tiny compressed air tank… any help with this would greatly be appreciated!!

Thats right Blodnob, I did use FX air tube on the back of a stealth, but I also had to make a special valve body to fit in the tube, so while I was at it I put an extra thread on it so I could screw a small cylinder on the valve and fitted a regulator in it. Yes Great minds do think alike, but Blodnobs not got a great mind, just a great big head, with alot of space between his ears.
yeah, i was thinkin those too- why reinvent the wheel, right? but for what i want to build, it wouldnt work. since i cant put pics on this (im not computer-literate!! im a jarhead!) do a search for the Tubb 2000 rifle, i want that stock. so what i was thinking, was to get round stock the right diameter and machine out what i want. i know what i want but its hard to get it down for others to understand..

The frame looks almost identical to a Talon… that stock might be a simple screw-in, or maybe a new bottle collar to adapt.
Guess we gotta wait until someone gets their hands on one.
Anyone know the guy that does vids for PA? Whuzzisname, Capello? He seems like a regular guy. Give him a shout and ask him to check it out. No need for the expense of a video, just a good breakdown of what’s common between the three AF rifles.

How about taking an existing air tube like one of an FX rifle and then making an adapter for the talon valve on it?
