Greg
Thanks just went back and ordered the recenter bore thingy
Free shipping pretty cool.
Mike

Mike, no problem.

The batteries are found just about everywhere, there LR-44 equivalent.

…… .. and of course make sure to recenter the crony to the bore line well for each change in caliber/gun you have Mike.

Greg,
Thanks just ordered one and some extra batteries .http://www.chronoscopes.com
You always seem to come up with some neat stuff,
Thanks
Mike

Mike

It doesn’t need much light to work, well on a cloudy days too.

You can buy it direct from the factory, not sure if it’s cheaper though.

http://www.chronoscopes.com

The site has user info, acsseraries and some tools you can use like calbration, if you have more than one crony you can make them equal. Which is great for BC work …….

Is the http://www.ebay.com/itm/Combro-cb-625-M … uY3O10LpZQ
very light sensitive? Does it work in dim light , Not dark , But just cloudy sky’s?
Looks like a nice tool to have.

Mine also came with a Listone barrel, Super accurate and loves every pellet I stuck in it, Polymags to cheap walmart pellets ,
I bought a CZ barrel 200 bucks , Just as accurate but only likes JSB 16 and 18 gr pellets , Polmags are ok out to about 30 yards and starts to toss them around a little bit,
I really need to buy me a new Chrono , But I hate spending 300 bucks for something I hate doing.
I had rather sort pellets than shot through a chrono.
Maybe I hate it so much because I keep shooting the dam things,
Mike

Jeez if you’re spending 300 on a Chrony maybe you should add 80 bux and get a MagnetoSpeed V3. http://www.magnetospeed.com/products/chronographs/#v3

If you can shoot that one you’re really doing something wrong 😛

I’ve seen posts of some mofo’s using the LabRadar.

Thx Greg…….

What do you guys think of this the Air Chrony……
I’ve been thinking of getting one.
https://www.air-chrony.com/en/

If any body here has one please chime in.

I like it because, I think it will be more easy too use.
In the sense of, not dealing with lighting set up.

And not have to get the shot lined up just right, as much too get the good reading on your shots.
Which is a real pain.

Lot of shooters in the UK use this. :biggrinn:

Both barrels are super accurate, The CZ just like the JSB 16 and 18 gr pellets,
The Listone Likes them all, I am sure there is a reason for this its just beyond me.
I remember setting the barrels side by side and I could not tell the apart,
I even looked inside with a light,
I think I heard the CZ had a tighter choke, Than the Listone barrel.
I just bought a bunch of the short polymags in 22 , So I may be putting my Listone barrel back on.
That was a 200 dollar lesson ,
Mike

Hea Mike,
The Listone barrel likes Poly long in my gun, don’t know about the Short (it shoot crooked in all my barrels/guns) though ….. let us know how it shoots.
CZ barrels that I’ve own never liked Polys like LW barrels do …….

U need a good in home setup with the crony also, but I got this ……… it’s very good/reliable and product support is GOOD !
I always take it with me to the farms to double check on speed, don’t want any unnecessary miss calculations/shoots.
It said to work with up to 22 cal but I’ve used it for 25 as well, big bang for the amount of beans !

Also ……….. Fox your girl is still a Hottie !
My Listone barrel was/is a bit less efficient than my new CZ barrel, but I’m keeping them all 3 for a rainy day u know.

Mikey,

On shooting the chrony, the last one I got I optioned for the remote readout. Then when you setup the Chrony, I place a nice piece of steel in front that covers the entire profile of the Chrony with the exception of the projectiles path; this way if you move down to a lower target that would wing the Chrony its deflected.

Best to deflect them down word but gravity and physics gets in the way with how you angle the piece of steel. I use a piece of 1/4″ steel and angle it where its deflected downward by using a piece of tape to allow the steel to angle back at the top. I even tape the bottom to help hold everything in place.

Its armored and with the remote readout it works great. I have winged a few of mine over the years as well as drilled a couple that ends life of them as we know it anyway!

I like the Listone barrel a lot.
Because I’m not lock in, too use only JSB pellets.

I have a CZ barrel all so, but I never have used it yet. :biggrinn:

Just another proof that Asia became one of the major technological players, competing with the big ones….

But if the above stated results are confirmed over a longer period (thousands of shots and longer period of stress, wear etc) than actually it looks like the Listone being a “superior quality” product….
