The one that got away. HW30
About 6 months ago I bought a HW30 177 when Pyramid Air was running one of its sales with free shipping .I kept hearing about how easily they shot and had to see for myself …Check it out. 
. I had it about a week and had put just over 1000 shots thru it when it started stringing pellets low , never high just low ..Did a lot of checking and found out it was the little spring loaded ball that locks breech up and it was Super hard to fix …LUCKILY PA did me right and gave full refund since it hadn’t been 30 days …But the way it shot makes me wanna try another one . PS. That little silver thing is what was left of a push pin when I started shooting …That group was in first couple dozen shots

I recently bought a very nice used Hw30. 177 I was totally surprised for a light rifle she still had some heft and I bet once scoped she will feel perfect.
hmm now I wonder if mine will have the same issue.

I don’t think its a HUGE problem ,just one of those that come up at times . Mine had it but from talking with a guy who repairs springers its like 1/in 100 type deal . But he said when it happens it usually does very soon when its first shot ….I LOVED my HW30 and I will own another one for sure …Mine was just that 1 in 100 .
