The people on this forum are assholes
All anyone does around here is lurk and mooch off of the information that is shared. Hardly any feedback on any of the posts. Hundreds of views, maybe 1 or 2 responses. What the fuck does anyone waste their time posting here for?
Theres not even a 5% return ratio of responses to views.

we had a problem with new users not being able to post comments because in needed to be approved. A spam bot blocker i installed and didn’t realize it was blocking all new users should be fixed now
How many threads appear read by search engines etc. that might inflate the numbers.
Like you said, many people here share things. We couldn’t share info if no one looked and read. It is not required to answer when a suggestion is given. Other than a thank you every once in a while. And those are given in spades.
It must also be noted that many, many of the “LOOKS” are just as lost as you. With no answer to give. Just because there are more than a few views, it doesn’t mean the majority of them have any answer at all.
From time to time, a super green noob ask a question that is so off the wall. So totally missing the point of what a AirGun is for, that to answer the question brings nothing but an argument.
If we feel a question is just too “out there”, or down right childish, many of us have learned the hard way to just let it go. It’s not worth the aggravation.

there are allot more people looking around on this forum than ones that know how to answer questions, so your going to get allot of looks at post.
and like was said; people will get on and ask a question that has been ask a million times before. some of the same questions that i ask when i first found this forum in 2009
the newer guys that have made it thru the first few learning curves will get on and try and help out , and i think the guys that have been around longer kinda Waite and see if it can be worked out before they step in, and answer a question that they have sit and explained a thousand times before .
I know that is what i do, and the guys that i know were here before me, that i ask questions and they did there best to help ,(you know who you are guys) i want to thank again,
and i searched my ass off trying not to ask questions that were obvious or things that i could find with a search,
some time s its hard to answer a persons question , i try to help when i can , just like the other guys, i have just been able to spend time on here, been working allot , but my work has slowed down,
i think that people can get more help here with the air force stuff than any where else,
don’t think i would be so quick calling everyone and ass hole.

I think you guys need to pickup a bullpup and head on over to the Cricket, Edgun and Bullpup section. Lots of activity on there and great resources. Maybe because bullpups are still new. Give it a few years and I am sure we all become assholes too.
It is time for people to up speak up and try to contribute more it also it good for people to use the search function and see if they can do some homework and see if the question has been answered before.

I built a bullpup, but i sort of lost interest in it after a month and a half, so i sold it. It was great, but i just wasnt too crazy about it. I see you are in orlando…i am in west palm..if youre ever down this way and want to shoot or hunt let me know!
For the record, i havent asked any questions on this forum really…maybe a few….rather mostly shared ideas and stories and whatnot. What I was saying is that people here just mooch. I dont answer stupid questions either, its a waste of time…but when someone goes to the trouble of making a post or telling a story or putting a video up, so many of you watch/read/view it and dont write a comment. How much time does it take to compliment a fellow airgunner for a job well done or a good effort put forward? Not much at all?
I am not a newbie by any means. I guarantee ive built more guns than most people on this forum. I stop by here from time to time because i like that this forum doesnt have stupid pussy rules like the other ones do. I can post whatever the hell i want without worrying that it will be deleted (well, thats not true. One of my posts was deleted from this forum, and not by me).
I wasnt talking about people asking questions. I agree, a lot of stupid questions are posted that don’t warrant any type pf response at all. Iwas talking about posts that have actual content. It bothers me to see people go to share their joy and excitement and to see nothing in return from the same group of people who are on here every day. It just seems really selfish to me.

I wasnt talking about the questions though, more the friendly posts that are in the nature of ‘Look What I Just Did!’ After someone works hard on something, and 400 people look and don’t have a word to say about it. Just plain selfish to be part of a big group like this and not have any contributions ever. Of course this doesnt go for everyone here…i see the same people posting and commenting, but so many just dont. It bothers me, and is the main reason i dont stop by too often.

And i agree, dumb questions should go unanswered. Look it up and learn about what you’re working with before you waste space and post redundant questions, but that goes to all the airgun forums. I see people joining after buying their first airgun asking things like, can i kill a hog with my 1377? 🙄
Btw, had i posted this on any other airgun forum everyone would have freaked out.
