Q:

The ultimate shot!!!

Hey yall

I was just outside with my talon SS and made what I consider the ultimate shot. 2 birds one shot!!!! I was sitting there watching 4 house sparrows about 20 yrd out and thinking if two line up I wonder if I can get them both. bout then 2 lined up, I squeezed off a round and feathers flew. When I walked up there were two dead birds 8) 8) 8) I would have taken pics but if you dont believe it in writing you wouldnt believe a pic either, so you just gotta take my word for it.

happy shooting

200 frogs…did you have them in a bucket?

They were baby toads in a covered hole in the ground. 🙂

Shooting birds out of the air with an air rifle is possible too and very satisfying. I have managed it with a few grackles and red wing blackbirds.

I HATE buzzards… so I shoot at them every chance given with whatever weapon I have on me. I once hit one in the air with a 397PA… it almost hit the ground but recovered flight. Before anyone lectures on what a beneficial creature buzzards are… you should understand their numbers here and also their stupidity to sit in the highway as you approach them at 70mph. If it were legal to mount shotguns on the front of a vehicle you could bet on my environment being buzzard free.

thanks mam

It was the first time I ever tried it and I reckon it was maybe beginer luck.
I tried for years to shoot a bird out of the air with a .22 rifle and have never succeeded, but had a cousin do it twice in a row 😯 so who knows. One thing for sure i will be trying to repeat it!

good luck

That’s nothing. Try a few hundred frogs with a single 410 … shotty. 😛

How the heck do you line up on 200+ frogs at the same time?
