I occasionally order vintage axes on gunbroker. Prices are a little bit lower than eBay. Looked at a edgun matador on there that was well above retail

I have sold on Gunbroker a few times and the prices are high but the auctions fail most of the time. Then they lower the price and go through it again and again in an attempt to squeeze top dollar. I found out the best way now to get a gun cheap is to find a non-dealer FFL like a gun smith and buy through them. I know three folks that do it at the moment. Private sales are a lot cheaper for a used gun. Someone gave me a Chinese SKS for free which I later sold for $300 but on Gunbroker they sell from $300-700 which is borderline insane as well considering the numbers of them out there. Sometimes they sell them for more than $200 covered in rust. Somehow in they stay in business.

I think you should get a call from the owner before he will authorize your account. The guy has a lot of enemies so he’s cautious about who he lets in.

Have you guys look at how high stuff is on gunbroker now?

I never could get my account to work over there. I am wondering if it is not a buddy buddy thing. I feel like it is by invitation only and you have to be one of the in crowd to use there forum.

It reminds me of EBay where prices are outrageous. The ads all read the same. This airgun is so good I am selling it.

I love the modified Mutant Shorty for $1500. They are full of themselves. Hopefully, no one is suckered but they count on the newbies with a pocket full of cash and no knowledge.
