Q:

Thinking of getting a .25 cal, 24" barrel….

I was thinking of going to a 24″ .25 on my Condor. I currently have a 24″ .22 barrel on my Condor. How many fpe, how many shots can I expect per fill. Does it use air more efficiently? What kind of accuracy are you getting at long range? I was also thinking of getting a regulator also. Has anyone done this w/ a .25? If so, what were your results. Any extra info will be helpful….Thanks,

I only flopped my pecker on a 3″X5″ index card and traced around it. 😆 😛

there are some things better keep to yourself 😆

oh my GOD! I am so ashamed that I did not realize, that you guys are such degenerated perverts. How could you think a silhouette of a wood chuck, looks like a condom? When clearly you can see, I only flopped my pecker on a 3″X5″ index card and traced around it. 😆 😛

I was curious also, so I traced mine on a 18×12″ sheet of contruction paper. I see a giraffe rather. The killzone would be much smaller even with the .25.

Hell with Jerrys slugs the shock will kill em.

If those were condoms, the “kill zone” would be MUCH BIGGER! 😆 😆 😆

LOL 😆 😆 😆

Those look like condoms. 😆

I know I am excited to get a .25 barrel again.
also Jerry’s Slugs are on the money. I really liked the 7 ring 70.96 grain ones they would go through 3/4″ birch plywood.

Here is another reason why Bigger is better

There ya Go! 😀 Now don’t ever let them know over at the other site that you have caught the power bug. I get so tired of the speeches of how power isn’t needed, only accuracy. It’s only in the in the misguided dreams of newbie’s. It never dawns on most of them that you can indeed have both.

Kinda reminds me of the Size doesn’t matter argument that men love to claim women make. Now ask a truly woman, and she will tell you-yes that is partly true, but knowing how to use it +Size+ WooHoo!!!

And Never -Ever tell them you own a Talon or Condor! They are all cheap junk you know. You know your guns. And you do own some nice Gun’s!

Mike

I think I will have to give Talon Tunes a call this week.

Thanks,

I got that set up and stock and jerrys slugs, 90fpe, shoot the right pellets and turn the pw down and it shoots just like the 22 for shot count and mine is dead on.

well i guess i made a good decsion and ordered a 24in .25 barrel from talon tunes and some slugs from jerry. cant wait til i get them both . 😀

I have a .25 cal stock condor (other than a heavy spring) and I was averaging 930 fps with 35 grain eunjins. Accuracy was good enough with my shroud, to take turkeys at over 60 yards.

Hey Albert!

Yep. a bunch of people here have done it. I guess every one is away for Sunday. Mighty quiet around here. I’ve got a 21″ .25 ordered. The post here on the .25 have been very encouraging. Very high FPE. And Jerry’s slug’s have been giving a good showing. YN just posted a graph a few days ago that speaks volumes about the .25. I’ll see if i can find it. I do know that he was getting a high of 953 fps with a 43 gr. E.J. for 85 Fpe. with a very good curve. I don’t know if he has it cranked wide open or not.

You sure you don’t need a Custom hand made Palmer Bow for that AW you have for sell? 😀 The take down model I have here books for about 2000.00 now. It was on the cover of DBI’s Archery Digest 2 yeas ago. Mine was made for me by Mr. Palmer himself. He has retired. All Palmer’s now are made by shop hands. He built it from exotic woods I supplied. the riser is Honduras rose wood and African Wengee. Beautiful, but sadly due to rotator cup injury, I can no longer shoot Her. She is a one of a kind beautifully shaped Recurve.

Found it! http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r213/n1bpd/Airgunning/Airguns/25%20cal/Condor25Chrony.jpg

Mike The entire thread can be found under the Condor threads. It is dated Sept 11 2008 under how many good shots with the .25 condor. I tkink. Just search Graph and it it is about half way down the list.
