Tony, is the moderator on the Lelya very effective?
My neighbors are intolerant dolts…they will dance with glee at my funeral.
Therefore, I try to avoid their attention, especially since they both hate air guns being shot in my back yard.
I noted Ed mentioned a new moderator on the Lelya in his video on the breech issue. I’m wondering if I need to attempt to obtain one to further quiet the Lelya?
Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Especially if I need to ask you to send me one in a box marked “Lawnmower Muffler”…. 🙄

When Shooting 14’s , 16’s and Predators I have NOT had a problem with the breech opening.
When shooting the H&N 21’s and the JSB 25.4 it will typically open if NOT Shut / Closed properly.
I have shot about 5000 pellets through the gun…all I can say…KEEPER !!!!!!
In short at 20 FPE’s with Lighter pellets it is NEVER a problem….

The fact of life is sometimes when you ask, there are individuals who have what you want, don’t keep track of, or care about, current events, and answer your request.
I have been recently been offered a new R3 .25 caliber at cost. I turned it down because the timing was wrong for me. There are individuals in this sport who are not pressed for income. They can be extremely generous at times.
I want a Lelya. Don’t be surprised if I get one under suspicious circumstances. Old age has shown me nothing is impossible!

Hoot the leyla is much quieter than the Matador and is very back yard friendly, but the muzzle is threaded and will accept one of those specialised Americanised dust catcher thingie mergingies, so you can appease the intolerant wankers next door !
first impressions are that Ed has upped his engineering game on the Lelya and i can appreciate his manufacturing costs are so high in relation to the matador 😯
