way too much time on your hands ! lol Some of us just shoot the hell out of them when we can get a chance! lol
smart idea, I wipe mine down with an oily clothe that I bought pre oiled for my centerfires. Wipe them down peridically and put back in safes.

Dude you should get you one of those sharpie looking gun blue markers, they have them in black also, and then mark over all your allen head bolts to get rid of the rusty look you get on these suckers… That or just use a black plain sharpie will work also…
I had the same crap with some of mine also. I ended up getting all stainless steel allen heads to replace mine and then I flame hardened them and oil quinch them. This will give them a nice darker look and the oil really finishes them off nicely. They just need to be heated till they start to change colors, no more than just changing and then quinch them in old used motor oil works really well. Takes some time chasing down the sizes you will need and then doing the bolts all up, but once I got mine done they have been much better to use as well as look at dude…

Dude I can only by the time that has lapsed, laugh out loud about a comment like that about the time… LOL Dude the time that was NOT spent on my Condor when I bought it NIB years ago, is the very reason I have spent the last many years totally rebuilding every single part on the rifle… Its also the very reason I continue to spend even more time on the rifle now that I have found the awesome rifle the Condor can be…
So yeah, I guess I do spend to much time working all the things I see on everything I have or buy new these days, but only for the reasons it makes them better or most often any more, it just makes them work like they were suppose to when you buy something new LOL… I will say at the point my Condor is now, its one of the very best built and its just getting better as that thing goes by!!! Time, you know the sayings like good things come to those who wait, or how about my favorite,
