Thoughts on depinging

Has anyone tried attaching a tube to the end of the valve on the bottle side almost the length of the inside of the bottle kinda like the old style regulators? I was thinking this might change the sound wave enough to fix the high freq ping… or make it worse. I know many of you could care less and I really have gotten pretty used to it but I thought I’d throw it out there.
