Q:

Time for some Fox Pro action

Cricket 25 cal rifle sighted in with Benjamin (27 grain?) pellets at 30 yards. As long as brush isn’t in the equation, I feel confident that I can place a pellet (Velocity 910 fps for Benjamin’s/ 935 fps for Exact Kings).
My last Cricket (25 cal Bullpup with wood stock) wouldn’t shoot the Benjamin’s as tight. This rifle that I have now has recently returned from Ernest Rowe. He is meticulous and does great work. I can see this rifle carrying me through til fall squirrel season.
I really think, that in the right hands, this rifle would be a worthy bench rest competitor. It is THAT accurate. Particularly with Kings. But it is plenty accurate with Benjamins for crows, and other legal vermin.
This is an awesome form. Being here brings back memories. I owned a Condor (22 cal) a year or two ago and I would frequent the Condor forum. Ernest has told me about this forum, and that it is a good one, but it just didn’t sink in. I’m a proud Cricket owner…..in fact…..this is my third. I owned a 22 cal rifle (not Bullpup) first. It was EXTREMELY accurate and for it’s size…….it seemed to have got many more shots than many airguns it’s size. I am particularly fond of the Kalibrgun regulator. Anyway……I am showing off mine here along with my recent purchase (a 97 cu ft capacity tank). I have filled up about 20 times and I am still just under 4500 PSI in the tank. I am real happy with my set up. Just thought that I would share. I’d like to someday DIP this rifle and give it a factory camo look. Realtree.

My stock Cricket 22 cal @ 50 yards no internal tuning done yet, only cleaned the barrel extremely well using PatchWorm and Ballistol. Adjusted HST with Ernest methods.

My latest 3/4″ target size shooting with the Cricket 22 cal, I fill to 220 bar ending at 130 bar 4 mags – 56 shots, 11 – 3 shot groups the 12th is 23 shots (.3″ ctc) all at 50 yards with JSB 18 gr @ 880 fps with almost no wind ~0-2 mph. About 900 shot thought it’s CZ barrel so far, and it’s still breaking in.

WOW! Seven shots at 50 yards!!! Awesome group! My 22 cal really liked the 18.1 grain Exacts. Great shootin!

Kevin, nice looking set up. I also have a 97 cf tank from Joe and love it. I got tired of driving 100 miles to fill so I bought a Freedom 8 Shoebox. Now it’s fill as needed with no traveling.

Ernest also tuned my cricket and yes he does a great job, takes his time and does it right. Mines a .22 cal this was shot indoors at 50 yards…

not bad…
