To Skeletonize, or not to skeletonize…
Is there any reason not to skeletonize the Colibri stock? It looks to be a solid block of wood at the bottom half, or more, of the rear stock.
Other than a long stock bolt at the very end, I don’t see a problem. Why hasn’t anyone done this? Speaking of which…why hasn’t anyone posted anything about the Hummingbird lately? They are in the hands of the new owners, corrective modifications have been made, initial reports were of sound construction, accurate, quiet, good shot count, but then things got real quiet!
Did everyone owning a ‘Bird suddenly become struck deaf, dumb, and unable to type? Wazzup??? Inquiring minds want to know.

you could just leave the paddle end in the water and pull the trigger and get the same results with the amount of air that leaks from those shoddy breeches.. 
That’s waste of air Gus, I am sure at his age now, he’s popping laxative pills left and right. All he has to do is pull down the skinny red pleather shorts and let her rip in the opposite direction of where he wants to go.
No paddling needed, just pull the trigger and discharge the air to move the canoe.
