Top hat issue…help please!
My name is Gabe, and this is officially my first post, and I apologize that my first post includes me needing help. Mods, if I am doing this incorrectly, please let me know and I will change it asap.
My factory top hat in my CondorSS .25 broke last week, I believe from overly porting it to the point it wasn’t supported. I ordered the high performance top hat from Tony (the one without the inserts) and it arrived at my house today. I am trying to put the top hat back in its place so I can plow through some hogs later on, but the top hat will not stay down, it just pops back up every time I try to put it in. I have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it. I see that there is a small o-ring inside the gold piece where the top hat should go in, and another that is on the threads of the tank…I took pictures of both, as well as the order I have them in, in case it’s incorrect. That’s what I usually do to get it to go in, but the tank will not hold air, it just comes out from the tophat itself. But I thought the air wouldn’t stay in the tank because the top hat was not in there.
Did you try and dry fire the gun a few times, this should push the top-hat down and in.

You can tap the delrin on the top-hat with a hammer while its apart then screw it in assembled.
