Top hat walked out to 3/16" !
I noticed it making some more noise, and thought the gap was too much. Dialed it back in. I need to get a micrometer and some Loctite to make this stick.

Cheap set of feeler gauges from the auto parts works well….
be careful tightening the grub screws, they will bend
the tube inside and get the top hat stuck….
